I love rain!

Luka has a brand new sweater.

Aiti (Riikka) has again made this cool sweater and hat for Luka for next winter.

We were accompanied by our friend Kaija, who celebrated her big birthday while on the trip, and her daughter Anna (4), who took a very big sisterly approach to Luka.

Luka poses with his NYC friends, Ines and Caetano. We were visited by our long time friends that we know from Finland, who then moved to the States a year before we did. It was fun to reunite once again.

Trick or Treat!

Happy Halloween!

Luka goes trick or treating with friends from next door.

Luke cheered for mommy at the Denver Marathon on 10/15, and is now running around the house practicing for his own race (maybe in 2008?). The race day was beautiful: 60s and sunny with a clear view of the snowcapped Rockies. It snowed again 2 days after the race.

Luka got his first haircut today! We went to a special children's hair salon, where Luka picks a German Mercedes Bentz for his seat for the occasion. Hair dresser explains to Luka that this might tickle a little bit.
