Birthday boy

Right before leaving Denver we celebrated Luka's 4th birthday. Yes, it was an airplane birthday party. It was held at the Lowry Wings Over Rockies -museum, which is a really cool place for anyone to visit. On his real birthday, on the 3rd, he got to go inside a B-2 bomber with some real pilots. Cool!

August updates

We have been busy! Thus the blog has not been updated. Riikka was offered a job on the west coast, and for the past couple of months we have been busy relocating. We put our house on the market at the beginning of July, and in all but 48 hours the house was sold with 2 back up offers. Great! Only..we didn't have house yet in California. The parents then flew out to Orange county while nana spent a week in Denver baby sitting Luka & Ella. We were surprised to learn how quickly houses sold in Orance county. After a busy week of househunting we submitted 5 offers, out of which only one was counteroffered. So, we did get a house, it is in Costa Mesa, CA, and we move in 8.22. Now living out of suitcases and staying with friends & family. We are excited yet a little sad to leave beautiful Colorado and all our friends behind. New adventures await...
