This was the best gift of all!!

We woke up to a white Christmas, and the snow just kept falling and falling throughout the day.

Look what Santa left for me...

Luka was very excited about Christmas this year. He made sure that Santa had his cookies and milk by the fireplace and he sprinkled some outmeal for the reindeer on the front lawn. He is convinced that he saw Santa and reindeer fly in the sky.

I'm so pretty in my Christmas dress...

Ella has become quite the social butterfly these days. She likes “talking” and smiling to people, and she has also started grabbing toys or pulling your nose if you get close to her.

Like mother like daughter...

Sleddin' down the hill

Luka is at the point of really enjoying going sledding. He likes the speed if he knows I'm close and other kids are having fun. Here's a picture of Luka at dusk when it was just the hill, Luka and daddy.

Lift-off!

Ella definitely has the Hertling family muscle fitness; she can already lift her head up this high -and flip to her back- at two months. She now weighs almost ten pounds, and will attend Hunnies House daycare starting this Thursday.
