Denver winter storm on Wednesday and Thursday brought almost a meter of snow to Southern Denver.

A perfect Christmas gift fell from the sky: The biggest winter storm in 3 years hit Denver yesterday. As a thick blanket of snow covered the roads, employees were sent home, stores closed, and even the post office shut down. In the morning we woke up to this awesome site: Just white all around. We enjoyed a fun day digging our way out of the house and speding time with our neighbors baking cookies : )

The Finnish American runners on Thanksgiving morning before the Highlands Ranch Turkey Day Run (5K). It seems that more and more people are participating in the Thanksgiving races with their friends and family as a new holiday tradition. We definitely intend to make this our tradition!
