This weekend we visited Essi and Steve in Steamboat Springs, and what a great trip we had! This place is absolutely beautiful with the river running through the valley surrounded by lush green mountains. Luka enjoyed the company of Essi's and Steve's children, Annika and Niklas, also Finnish-American kids (on Luka's left and right). Also in the picture is Finn (far laft), a son another Finnish-American family living up there. On Sunday, the girls hiked up to the mountain top, the guys and the kids took the gondola up to join them later. Here the kids are posing just before a well deserved snack break.
