He liked all his gifts though. After he started feeling better.

Luka had his first barbeque birthday party on Sunday. Unfortunately the birthday boy was feeling a little under the weather, so he didn't have as much fun as everyone else did.

This has truly been a special week. For Luka it's been a big week of firsts. 1. He learned to throw the ball at you on command. He has very good aim. 2. He learned to come down the stairs by himself 3. He stood without support (for about 5 seconds) 4. He started offering things. At dinner table he insists that mommy too will take a bite out of his piece of bread. Endearing. 5. Last but not least: he had his first taste of chocolate cake to celebrate his one year passing.

Luka turned one on Aug 3rd. He hasn't had the real party yet. Daddy flew out to LA for business on his birthday, and the meaning was to celebrate as he returned on Friday...and then Luka was just too tired to party. The one year shots have really worn him down. But he'll have real party yet!
