Luka's favorite (and only) uncle came over to Colorado all the way from Egypt. They really bonded, and Luka even laughed at some of his jokes.

Happy Thanksgiving form the Hertling and Lipsanen families! Luka enjoyed the undivided attention from all his grandparents, and aunt and uncle. We headed up to snowy Dillon to enjoy beautiful mountain views and some tasty turkey.

Luka is now speaking, okay, maybe only a little bit.

Here's yet another update on the development of Luka. A hefty 12 pounds he is, and has officially grown out of his basket. Last week he's been pampered with a lot of attention from his grandparents who have been busy reading him stories (in Finnish, of course), taking him on long walks, and teaching him how to scoot on his back.

It's November 1st and we just had our first snow of the season. See last week verses today for the difference.

The little one is really, really liking the white stuff. Very soon he will not fit in the basket he calls home.
